To produce good quality candles, it's important to be aware of the percentage of fragrance that your chosen wax can hold: this percentage is referred to by professional candlemakers as your "fragrance load". Using too much fragrance can result in candles with dry or lumpy wax or even produce candles that do not hold a flame.
